Leon Swift

Definition: renaissance man – a person with many talents or areas of knowledge. Leon Swift was the “renaissance man” at Coldwell Banker Commercial First Equity. He was one of those rare individuals that had a deep knowledge on a wide array of subjects. His natural-born curiosity led him to develop a knowledge base that far surpasses the ordinary individual.

We, at Coldwell Banker, and his many clients will miss him dearly. He was a repository of experience and knowledge that he was more than willing to share just for the asking. Additionally, Leon never hesitated to pitch in and help anyone in the office whether it was a commercial, farm/ranch, residential, or administrative issue. And he made you feel like your issue was the most important thing he could be focusing on at that moment. 

Leon impacted the entire Amarillo commercial real estate industry in the most positive sense because he made every commercial practitioner, whether competitor or collaborator, better. Anyone who ever worked with Leon is better for the experience. And in all his contributions, he never sought the spotlight. He was the ultimate team player. 

Leon was our advisor, mentor, collaborator, counselor, sounding board, and transaction partner, always providing or seeking the absolute best answer to every question. Most of all, he was our friend. His loyalty and humility will always be a part of the fabric of Coldwell Banker Commercial First Equity.
