KOLTEN WILDER

Kolten Wilder

Commercial Associate

Kolten Wilder joins Coldwell Banker as a Commercial Associate, bringing a strong foundation in accounting, finance, real estate operations, and investment analysis. A graduate of West Texas A&M University with a double major in Accounting and Finance, Kolten began his real estate career in Dallas as a Senior Accountant with a third-party management company, where he supported the CFO of a family office owning and operating retail shopping centers throughout the metroplex. That early experience gave him a disciplined, numbers-driven approach to commercial real estate, with hands-on exposure to cash flow analysis, IRR modeling, capitalization rates, operating performance, and stakeholder reporting.

After relocating back to Amarillo in the fall of 2017, Kolten joined local real estate development firm The Williams Group as a Property Manager. In this role, he oversaw a diverse real estate portfolio with responsibilities spanning leasing, financial statement preparation, vendor coordination, property operations, and ownership reporting. He also assisted with tenant finish-outs and build-to-suit projects as a developer representative, giving him practical insight into how occupancy decisions, construction costs, lease structure, and long-term asset planning affect both owners and tenants.

Kolten also advises small- and medium-sized business owners and investors on financial and operational matters, helping them evaluate asset performance, strengthen financial reporting, and understand the economic factors shaping their businesses going forward. This advisory work gives him a unique advantage — a firsthand understanding of what it means to sit on the ownership and operating side of a business, weighing costs, return expectations, operating trends, risk, and long-term value creation. It’s a perspective he brings directly into his work with commercial real estate clients.

As a Commercial Associate, Kolten is focused on delivering a brokerage experience that is informed, strategic, and client centered. His ability to interpret financial statements, analyze cash flows, evaluate investment returns, and communicate complex real estate metrics in a practical way helps clients make more confident decisions, whether acquiring an investment property, positioning an asset for sale, negotiating lease terms, or identifying the right location for a growing business. Kolten’s goal is to pair market knowledge with financial clarity, so each client receives guidance tailored to their operational needs, investment objectives, and long-term goals.

Kolten is also committed to giving back to the Amarillo community through service and involvement. His service includes the West Texas A&M College of Business Advisory Board, Tascosa Country Club Estates Homeowners Association, Noah’s Corner, and the James and Eva Mayer Foundation. Kolten and his wife, Reagan, have been married for five years and are proud parents of three children- two daughters and one son.
