Randy Jeffers is the President and Managing Broker of Coldwell Banker First Equity, Realtors. Jeffers entered the real estate arena as a licensed commercial real estate assistant while attending Texas Tech in 1972. He became a commercial real estate broker in 1974, simultaneously completing his bachelor’s degree in business administration. From 1977-1986 Jeffers was a partner in a Real Estate Development and Investment Company, Garrett/Jeffers/Sharrock. In 1986, Jeffers became the Managing Broker for Coldwell Banker First Equity Realtors where he now manages over 40 full service residential agents, 7 commercial agents and the Corporate Services Division.

A native Texas and lifetime Amarillo resident, Jeffers is a committed advocate for real estate in Texas. Jeffers served years as a trustee for TREPAC and from 1997-2004 and Chaired TREPAC in 2005. He has also served on the Texas Real Estate Commission Broker-Lawyer Committee, co-chairing the committee in 2002 and 2003. Jeffers served as president of the Amarillo Association of Realtors in 1998 and was named the Amarillo Association’s Realtor of the year in 2000. Jeffers has held other key leadership positions on Texas Association of Realtors committees including Risk Reduction, Strategic Planning, Political Affairs and Recommendations. In 2006, he chaired TAR’s Budget and Finance Committee. In 2008, he served as Chairman of the 90,000 member Texas Association of Realtors.

Along with his commitment to the association, Jeffers has continued to cultivate community ties for more than 40 years. He is a former chairman of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce, served multiple terms on the United Way Campaign Cabinet, and served as a director for several Amarillo civic organizations including the YMCA, Harrington Regional Medical Center, and the Maverick Boys & Girls Club.
